In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 56:4 NIV)
You're going to have to take a chance on not being like everyone else. You must ask yourself, am I a people pleaser or a God pleaser? It's not worth it to try and please man, because God didn't make you to live for other people's approval.
God knew what He was doing when He made you. You are a unique individual, God created you the way you are! It's time that you dare to accept yourself as different and stop being insecure about who you are.

Power of words
You can choose life-generating thoughts by hearing, reading, thinking and talking about God and His Truth. What's inside you will find its way outside, so when you fill your mind with good, positive, powerful, life-giving things from God, positive, powerful, life-giving words will naturally follow.

The power of Jollibee
Celebrated Gab Grabato's 2nd birthday at Jollibee, the one near our house. I knew this was going to be a big thing for Dani. She has always found Jollibee fascinating, even without trying the food yet.
The party was at 4pm and we arrived 15 minutes past. Dani was a trooper! Such a good mood!

Meeting new friends, Gabi & Gwen Ng.

Dani's first parlor games. She was still too small for the last parties. Yaya Jen was raring to go!

Her 1st prize, too! I didn't like it because it was a gun, she loved the wrapper anyway.

She was actually dancing on her own front and center! Will wonders never cease!

Since Patty moved away, I've wished Dani could have another best friend. Here's to a hopeful mama.

Her mouth dropped when Jollibee made his grand entrance along with Hetty. I was getting teary eyed! I know how she loves Jollibee. It was a moment!

Bummed I look like Jollibee in this picture. Ugh!

Bryan couldn't have been prouder. She had a fall earlier but she was such a sport! She didnt cry!

She even got high fives from Hetty!
Such a wonderful day! Beyond words. Im a proud mom! She's really coming into her own.

Wonderful poem
I MAY NOT ALWAYS HAVE TODAY
I may not always have today,
To hold you in my arms
To hear your laughter as you play,
Or catch the smiles you pass my way.
I may not always have today,
To linger for a while,
To paint, or read a book or two,
Or pass the time to be with you.
I may not always have today,
To take your little hands,
To teach you how to fly a kite,
Or point to stars on walks at night.
I may not always have today,
But while I have you still,
I’ll thank the Lord for all you are,
Enjoy each moment and each hour.
You are God’s gift from up above,
My privilege today, to love.
My privilege TODAY, to love..
I may not always have today,
To hold you in my arms
To hear your laughter as you play,
Or catch the smiles you pass my way.
I may not always have today,
To linger for a while,
To paint, or read a book or two,
Or pass the time to be with you.
I may not always have today,
To take your little hands,
To teach you how to fly a kite,
Or point to stars on walks at night.
I may not always have today,
But while I have you still,
I’ll thank the Lord for all you are,
Enjoy each moment and each hour.
You are God’s gift from up above,
My privilege today, to love.
My privilege TODAY, to love..
She's got style, she's got flair

On songs and stories
Growing up, I can clearly remember my dad reading to me. Stories of Noah, Jonah, David, Joseph and his wonderful cloak. From fairy tales to outrageous stories from his imagination. Those were my fondest memories. I credit all those times to my love of books today. I cant imagine my life without books.
Putting you to sleep these days can be overwhelming. As adorable and spontaneous you can be, you can really be a handful especially during meal time and bed.
Just a few moments ago you were bawling and ceying your eyes out, refusing to listen to the stories I was reading to you. Maybe you're still too young to understand or maybe you are just bored. I dont know just yet. But i do hope its not the latter.
As you were standing, crying and begging for your Yaya Jen, I try to hold you close go calm you down. I beg and plead along with you. But it seems to not work at all and the nihtly battle proceeds. Mthen all of a sudden I remember a song and start singing. Just like that, an instant miracle. You relax, lie down and stop crying. I sing about 4 songs. Songs I dare not sing in front of others with my voice so out of tune. Then the Lord just moved me to a prayer of thanksgiving, hope and strength. You drift away into slumber. Relaxed and peacefully. I breathe a sigh of relief and thank God for times like these where you kearn as I learn. So maybe now is not yet the time for books and tales. We have our own new story to make. Lets do it in God's beat.
I look at you with love. Capturing this moment e best way that I can. I love you more each day.

God's Time and Plan
God gives us hopes and dreams for certain things to happen in our lives, but He doesn't always allow us to see the exact timing of His plan. Although frustrating, not knowing the exact timing is often what keeps us in the program. When we accept God's timing, we can learn to live in hope and enjoy our lives while God is working on our problems.
